QuantumVote App Template

QuantumVote (quantumvote.online) is the blockchain-based voting prototype we built as “sovereign digital democracy infrastructure”: transparent to the public, tamper-resistant by design, and simple enough that ordinary voters can trust what they’re seeing.
What it does
- Creates elections (“votes”) on-chain with a defined lifecycle: Created → Started → Ended
- Lets voters cast a ballot from a clean web UI
- Records each vote immutably to a smart-contract ledger (no “oops we edited the database” nonsense)
- Tallies in real time and displays live results on the frontend
- Supports governance/admin control via an Admin panel (DAO-style expansion was part of the design intent)
Core guarantees (the point of the thing)
- Immutability: votes are written to a blockchain ledger and can’t be silently altered later
- Transparency: anyone can verify totals against the contract state
- Integrity: votes are submitted via private-key signing (cryptographic proof the transaction came from the voter’s wallet)
- Clarity: the UI focuses on “voter confidence”—what’s happening, what’s been recorded, and what the current tally is
Roles
- Voter: connects wallet and submits a vote through the frontend
- Admin: creates/manages votes and controls lifecycle transitions (admin access was intended to be wallet-address gated; the gating logic was recommended and only partially implemented at the time)
