Growth at Base44: No ceilings, just momentum

We asked two Base44 builders – Mor Saar Hillel, who runs acquisition and growth, and Tair Tal, a team lead in the Support Team – what it’s actually like to grow in a company that’s constantly in motion. Turns out, growth here doesn’t wait for a review cycle.
Mor didn’t ask for a bigger role. She just kept building until it was one.
“I started with one person on my team. Now I’m managing a multi-million dollar marketing budget and managing a team of eight. And we’re still growing,” she says. “It’s not about titles, and honestly we don’t really care about them – the scope of work just gets bigger as long as you push. Our structure is flat, and that keeps things moving.”
Tair’s version of the same story looks different. She came from a support role with structure, flow, and a playbook already in place. Base44 had none of that yet.
“We didn’t know what support even looked like in a no-code world,” she explained. “We built it from zero.” Tair’s first real challenge wasn’t a task – it was managing a team for the first time. “There’s a lot of fun and excitement that comes with diving into something new for the first time.”
That’s the pattern here. Nobody’s growth at Base44 looks like a promotion ladder; you see the gap, you close it.
Moving fast isn’t a slogan
Sometimes startup can feel like a whirlwind, especially when that startup has the scope of an enterprise.
For Mor, there was a clear moment when everything changed. “We didn’t have any data to predict our results. Then we understood the impact we were creating, and we scaled up so fast it was insane. We couldn’t believe the numbers.”
Tair felt the other side of that same growth curve, before the 2026 Super Bowl campaign sent a wave of new users straight to the product. “We knew what was coming,” she says. The team prepared, workshopped, and rethought what needed rebuilding before the traffic hit, so that when it did, they were ready.

“It’s up to you; if you’re a go-getter, your scope gets bigger and bigger as long as you push.”
We use our own product
Both Mor and Tair land on the same thing when asked what surprised them most: using Base44’s own product to run their own work. The tools they build are also assisting them in all their workflows, helping them continue to create while living in their very own feedback loop.
“We’re first-hand users,” Tair says. “You’re in the users’ shoes, feeling their pain points, before you’re solving anyone else’s problem.” Mor puts it more bluntly: “It’s easy to sell a good product. It’s better when you’re using it to solve your own problems, too.”
Is there actually room to grow, or is that just what companies say?

We asked it straight, because no one beats around the bush here.
“Base44 is a super real place to grow,” Mor says, without hesitating. “It’s up to you; if you’re a go-getter, your scope gets bigger and bigger as long as you push. We’re a small company, but our scope of work is huge – there’s always more to do, and we’re all here to help each other get better.”
Tair’s answer: “I felt it myself. I grew, and I still have more room to grow. I don’t feel a ceiling.” Then the part that actually matters if you’re deciding whether this place is for you: “It’s intense in a good way. You’re working with the best people around – it’s the best place to learn.”
That’s the honest pitch. A team that’s growing so fast, the only thing that decides how far you go is how hard you push. If that sounds like the kind of place you’d thrive in, you already know what to do next.
